Why Miro AI ranks #13

WORKSHOPS

Ranked #13 of 15 because it turns the raw wall of stickies into themes before the workshop even ends.

WHAT IT IS — ISSUE LINES, VERBATIM
An AI assistant inside Miro that generates and clusters sticky notes, diagrams, and summaries on the canvas.
WHY IT MATTERS FOR PMS
Discovery workshops and retros synthesize themselves on the spot, so the PM leaves with themes instead of a wall of raw stickies.

Our take, from the rated issues

Miro AI took the thirteenth slot in Issue 003 for fixing the most deflating moment in a discovery workshop: the end. Anyone can fill a canvas with sticky notes; the PM's real work starts afterward, clustering the wall into themes someone can act on. Miro's AI generates stickies, diagrams, and summaries on the canvas and clusters the mess on the spot, so the team leaves the room with themes instead of homework.

In our testing the clustering was the standout. Run a retro or a discovery synthesis with thirty raw notes and the first-pass grouping lands close enough that the PM's job shifts from sorting to correcting — a much better use of the hour after the workshop. The generation features are a decent warm-up act too: seeding a blank canvas with a structured prompt gets quieter groups past the staring-at-empty-space phase.

It ranks thirteen because the leverage is episodic. The tools above it earn their keep every week; Miro AI earns its on workshop days, which for most PMs means a few sessions a month. And the auto-themes are a draft, not a verdict — the PM still owns the read of which cluster actually matters. Neither dents the value for facilitation-heavy teams. If your discovery runs through workshops, this is the difference between leaving with evidence and leaving with a photograph of a wall.
