Our take, from the rated issues
Fin earned the second slot in Issue 001 because it does two PM jobs at once. On the surface it is a deflection play: an AI agent that resolves tier-1 questions straight from your help center and product docs, which makes it the rare AI purchase a support lead and a CFO both approve quickly.
The reason it ranks this high for product managers is the exhaust. Every conversation Fin resolves, and especially every one it cannot, is a labeled record of where the product confused someone. We rated it above the dedicated feedback tools because the signal arrives pre-qualified: real users, blocked in real moments, in their own words. A PM who reads Fin's unresolved-question feed every week owns a discovery input most teams pay research platforms to approximate.
The caveat is that Fin is only as good as the documentation underneath it. A stale help center produces confident, wrong answers, so budget the docs cleanup before the switch-on.
