Our take, from the rated issues
Rovo took the twelfth slot in Issue 003 for attacking the most dispersed chore in product management: finding out where a project actually stands. The answer is usually scattered across Jira tickets, a Confluence page someone forgot to update, a Slack thread, and someone's memory. Rovo searches across all of it and answers the question directly, with the source attached, instead of sending the PM tab-hopping through five tools.
The agents are the ambitious half. Beyond search, Rovo can be pointed at routine PM work — drafting release notes from closed tickets, summarizing a sprint's scope creep, triaging an incoming queue — and it does the first pass well enough to review rather than redo. In our testing the wins were real but uneven: the search half earned its keep immediately, while the agents needed a supervised fortnight before we trusted their output unattended.
It ranks twelve rather than higher because the value tracks your Atlassian footprint. A team whose work lives in Jira and Confluence gets an org-wide memory; a team on Linear and Notion gets a search box over the wrong pile. That dependency is the story of Issue 003's platform-native tools: each is excellent inside its walls and irrelevant outside them. For Atlassian shops, Rovo is the fastest way we rated to stop chasing status and start asking for it.
